What are lash extensions?
Lash extensions are single synthetic lashes that are adhered to a single natural lash. These are semi permanent lashes and are not to be confused with strip or “falsie” lashes.
How long does the process take?
For a full set the application process can take anywhere from 2-3 hours, depending on the style of lash extensions that you get. Fills usually take anywhere from 1-2 hours. Remember, these extensions are applied one by one to each isolated natural lash. This process is very meticulous and should not be rushed for the best results.
How long do they last?
Extensions typically last anywhere from 2-4 weeks, depending on how well you follow the aftercare instructions. Everyone has a different lash cycle so it will never be the same for every person. People with super oily skin tend to require more frequent fills due to the natural oils on their skin.
Does it damage our natural lashes?
No, when applied correctly your natural lashes should never be negatively affected by extensions. This is why it is important to do your research and go to a trusted and experienced lash technician.
Does it hurt to get extensions?
No. The only thing you will feel is gentle movement in between your lashes. Your eyes will be closed for the duration of the application process; so most people just relax and fall asleep.
Can I still wear makeup?
Yes, you can still wear makeup, as long as it is not oil based. Any oil will break down the adhesive and cause premature lash fall out. As far as mascara goes, you really shouldn’t need any. The extensions are dark and have a perfect curl already. However, if you absolutely need to wear mascara, it must never be a waterproof formula and it should only be applied to the very tips of your extensions.
Founder
Celina Marquez
After graduating from the University of Arizona’s Theatre Arts program in 2014, Celina attended and graduated from the Cosmetology program at the Aveda Institute in 2016. “I had always loved skincare and makeup. I am a self-taught make-up artist, but also learned a lot of my artistry from working for MAC Cosmetics.”
Celina received certification in lash extensions in 2015 and absolutely fell in love. After working in a trusted lash salon for over a year, she decided to start her own aesthetic business. Wicked Jade Beauty started in Tucson, Arizona and after a little over a year and a half, Celina decided to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona.

“I am a multi-certified lash artist in Classic, Volume, Russian and Mega Volume. Trusted companies that I have received certifications in are: LUX UNCUT, Lash Royals, and Lash Box LA. I have been lashing for over four years now, and I continue to get trained on the latest and greatest trends and techniques in the beauty industry. From natural to dramatic, let us create a beautiful look that makes you feel Lavishing and Vibrant.”
Celina is certified in multiple skincare services such as dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and peels. She received her lash lift certification from Lash Stuff in 2018. Celina has also received her certification in microblading and other brow enhancements in 2019.
“I want everyone who walks through my door to feel beautiful from the inside and out. I genuinely love to get to know my clients and allow them to truly relax and enjoy getting services from me. My salon is a judgment free zone and all are welcome here.”
